Matthias Kipping is the Richard E. Waugh Professor of Corporate History at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Canada. Born German, he has had, through his training, career and research, a very international career that has taken him to France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and Japan, among others. He has recently published Lars Engwall, Matthias Kipping, Behlül Üsdiken (eds.) Defining Management: Business Schools, Consultants, Media, Routledge (2016), and Dominic Barton, Dezsö Horváth, Matthias Kipping (eds.), Re-Imagining Capitalism, OUP (2016).
